just a wee post to wish every one a very Merry Christmas and wonderful 2012
am very behind in posting, and life is amking me more so….quilted 7 quilts last week, and finishing the last of 19 embroidered towels
….and small cousin towels still to go!!
oh well,
see you all next year
11-11-11
today’s date, sorry that it’s nothing more exciting, but I think the date itrlf is important
it’s also the day we remember the ANZACS
next time I’ll try and post some sewing style pictures…
I SO need motivation
after my last post, I’ve decided my (for now) traveling project will be Insanity I
am linking to the Friday Night Sew In and will post tomorrow with progress
****EDIT….I am a week LATE!!, but seeing as how Bobbi’s blog accepted my linky, I’ll post progress anyways
Where have I been?, mostly looking after kids and the house
Though I am facilitating at two craft groups, member of two guilds (on the committee for one) and have joined the local chapter of the Modern Quilt Guild
Also, Insanity II was pictured on page 28 of the Victorian Quilter’s Guild October Newsletter
On to my design wall, first picture is before I had the bright idea to pin up the Insanity quilts for updated pictures
Bonnie Hunter’s Double Delight blocks, a test block for Roll, Roll, Cotton Boll, Vignette hexagons (a whopping inch per side) and a 30′s Repro quilt-in-progress on the right (sorry, can’t find the pattern for the name, will edit when I do)

Second picture is the quilt that started it all, “Insanity” Using 1930′s repro’s and a white background
Third picture is “Insanity II”, growing slowly, but growing none the less
Pop on over to Patchwork Times and see what everyone else is working on
