joining a challenge

another blogger has issued a challenge

to find a container and fill it during the Tour de France bicycle race

went to the $2 (plus) store and found a jar

will be prepping the next few borders for

it’s “Insanity”, by Rhonda Pearce

and this is what I have prepped in advance

a lot to do, and there are 30+ more charm squares that I can cut into hexies and add to the quilt

so far I’m on target for having each lozenge/flower made from a different 1930’s reproduction fabric, mainly due to me unpicking a couple of lozenges when I found (accidental) duplicates

this is what I’m up to for the next few weeks, anyone care to join me?

Gratitudes

time to hand piece

no arthritis

family who leave me in peace (albeit late at night)

a husband willing and able to cook regularly for me

Are you insane???? — strike that question..it’s a moot point! (grin)
Of course you will machine quilt it. You are crazy enough thinking you could hand piece all this by yourself in the first place.
I might have to invite myself around to your place for an insanity quilt in one Saturday in the next few weeks. I think I need to fondle some of that repro fabric !
    huggers!
