Design Wall

let’s try again this week, shall we?

what’s on my design wall?

Insanity II is getting bigger

still a temporary “wall”, but I found a bigger pole and it’s just long enough to show the whole width (a smidge over 6 feet wide)

will have to take a hex count and proper measure next time I have it pinned up

for now, it’s back to prepping and piecing

tons of boring white that I can slice and cut up to on with if I run out of colored squares to chop up for hexies

That is a LOT of hexies! How big are they, and how big is that quilt?

Hi Cathy (and everyone) the hexies are half an inch per side, and the finished quilt ends up something like 71 x 80 inches

there are 10, 339 hexagons in the original quilt

This is really pretty. I think the white is a great way to accent the lovely hexies. Nice job.
